Plan and track projects and resources easily. GetOverview allows you to have a bird's eye view on all the tasks, projects and team members.
Employees
View Upcoming tasks
Scheduler automatically creates tasks based on priority. It accounts for project priorities, and tasks with specific due dates.
Log hours
Hours can be logged manually or after completing the tasks. GetOverview tries to make it very easy to log hours and track timesheets.
Managers and team leads
Track projects and its ETA
Projects with due dates can show a warning sign if they are not achievable by the due date. This gives you a good chance to act accordingly.
Track progress
Track project progress and progress of your team members. You can pin members and projects to track them via the dashboard.
Set project priorities
In the Timeline view, you are able to set project priorities by dragging them. You can also set project dependencies.
Set task and project due dates
It is optional to set project due dates and task due dates. Setting project due dates can help you track the project better.
Auto assign tasks
Have multiple resources to accomplish the task but not sure who to assign? Auto-assign feature tries to automatically assign all the tasks in a project to the less busy resource.
Track timesheets
You can check timesheet by project or by resources. This helps you to stay on track with budgeted hours and realistic hours being logged.

Set team member working hours
Define productive working hours for all members of the space. The Scheduler accounts this for the ETA calculation.
Manage space timezone and business days
Define timezone and working days of your space. This is also used by the scheduler to come up with a realistic projects timeline.
Customize timezone and working hours for specific members
Working with members who are in different timezone or have different working days? You can override the working hours, business days and timezones for any member.
Budgeting
Track current spendings based on logged hours and resource costs. Also track projected spendings based on pending work.
Guests (clients / stakeholders)
Track progress
Guests can track project progress and view tickets of the projects they are invited to but can not see Project ETAs. Project ETA are internal and not shared with Guests.
Track timesheets
Guests can see timesheets and hours spent so far on the projects they are invited to.

GetOverview tries to provide you a clearer visibility into things, be it Project ETAs, what tasks team is working on and track if things are on time or not.
GetOverview tries to schedule things based on the input provided for example estimated hours of tasks, and resources working on them. It also accounts different factors like timezone, business days.
It doesn’t account for Employee timeoffs and public holidays yet.
Although, it tries to show an overall picture of the projects and their approx ETA. It also warns if projects or tasks are not deliverable by the specified due date, and keep it up to you on how to deal with that. You can assign more resources, change priorities or postpone due dates accordingly.
FAQ
Common questions
What is the pricing model?
1 user is free forever, after that pricing is seat based. You can setup your credit card and based on number of members, invoice is updated accordingly. Guests are free as well, but they can only view the projects and cannot make changes to projects. Pricing per seat might vary slightly country to country, but around $3.99 USD per seat is the current draft pricing.
How does the subscription work?
Subscription is Space based. You can create up to 20 spaces under 1 account. Number of seats used in each space is accounted for the billing. 1 member (owner) is always free. When you subscribe, you are initially charged for number of current members. If you are the only member, you will be not charged. Whenever team members are added or removed, depending on the billing cycle, subscription is updated based on prorated amount.
What happens when I cancel the subscription?
When you cancel the subscription, you will be still able to use the app till the end of billing cycle. You will not be able to add new members though. Once the billing cycle ends, the space will be locked out for other members, and only the owner will be able to access the space. You will not loose any data. Whenever you plan to re-subscribe, your members will be able to access the space again.
What if I have a larger team?
If you have a larger team, you might consider to create multiple spaces under 1 account. You can create upto 20 spaces under your account. Each space can hold up-to 30 users.
How many members can I invite?
30 members can be invited to a space. Keeping a team / space smaller is crucial to keep it manageable. If you have large teams consider creating multiple spaces.
How many projects can I create?
You can create unlimited projects but In progress projects can be maximum of 100. This limit ensures quicker ETA calculation and performant operations.
Are there any upload limits?
Currently you can only upload images and embed Figma files to Tasks. Free users will have around 5gb of storage space, and after subscription it will be 20gb per user.

Data Security
All data is encrypted at rest using industry-standard 256-bit AES. All data in transit, both internally and externally, are encrypted using standard algorithms like TLS and SSH
Data Privacy
Your data will not be made available to third-party entities. We won’t share your data with anyone. Moreover, once data is deleted, its permanently deleted and we don’t keep the records on our server. For more information, you can go through our Privacy Policy
Data deletion and Recovery
Whenever a task is deleted its deleted permanently along with its data (uploads and other related data). Whenever a project is deleted, its initially moved to Bin. Once deleted from Bin, it permanently deletes all the tasks and all the associated data. Whenever a space is deleted, its deleted permanently and it won’t be recoverable.
