Understanding Priority system in GetOverview

Since system automatically schedules tasks for users based on Priorities, you will need to understand how to set priorities in order to schedule tasks efficiently.

Project priorities

GetOverview uses simple drag and drop approach to order projects for setting priorities. GetOverview does not uses priority tags like Low, Medium or High, because these can be painful to maintain over a period of time.

Sortable projects is easier and more visual approach to set project priorities. Tasks for project of higher priority are scheduled first.

Task priorities

Its all great until we need a specific task which needs to be completed first. In this case we need to break out of Project based priorities.

To schedule a task manually, you can set a due date on the task. Now this task will be scheduled automatically based on the due date and estimated hours of that task. Earlier the due date, earlier the task will be scheduled.
